Dear Esteemed Stakeholders,

Greetings and Happy New Year 2082

As the Chairperson representing over 600 community colleges under the Nepal Public Campus Association (NPCA), I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your enduring dedication to accessible and quality higher education in Nepal. In the face of persistent challenges ranging from low UGC funding, high dropout rates, bureaucratic delays in affiliating new programs, and under-enrollment, our resolve remains unshaken. We are a resilient force, and our unity is our greatest asset.

NPCA is actively working on critical fronts:

1. Securing open academic affiliations from Tribhuvan University
2. Resolving PAN-related complexities for our colleges
3. Transitioning from home centers to TU-paid exam centers
4. Advocating for the classification and regulation uniformity of community colleges
5. Initiating institutional reforms within NPCA
6. Gaining recognition and classification for our educators
7. Launching a welfare fund for our stakeholders
8. Creating a unified digital platform to promote all member colleges
9. Expanding digital services to enhance operational efficiency
10. Reframing and prioritizing pressing agendas to meet modern educational needs

Despite limitations, our colleges provide affordable, skills-based, and community-rooted education to one-third of Nepal's higher education students. This is no small feat it is a movement toward transformation.

Let us continue this journey with purpose, hope, and collaboration. Together, we will overcome, evolve, and illuminate the future of higher education in Nepal.

Warm greetings from the Nepal Public Campus Association!

Community colleges across Nepal have been steadfast in their mission to provide accessible, affordable, and quality education, serving nearly one-third of the students enrolled in higher education. Despite our contributions, we continue to face critical challenges: inadequate government financing, duplication of academic programs leading to low student enrollment, and a lack of faculty grading and recognition systems in community colleges.

These issues not only hinder our growth but also affect the motivation of our dedicated faculty and staff. We urge all member colleges to come together in solidarity and advocate for policy reforms that ensure equitable funding, program diversification, and just evaluation of our educators. Let us strengthen our collective voice to uplift the community college movement and secure the future of inclusive higher education in Nepal.
