Our Objectives

The Nepal Public Campus Association's (NPCA) main goals are to: • Protect community colleges' autonomy and rights in Nepal; • Ensure their long-term growth; and • Ensure their acceptance in the country's educational system.
• To encourage creativity, teamwork, and academic success while promoting and supporting the professional and academic programs of participating community campuses.

• To promote the rights, well-being, and dignity of faculty and staff employed by community colleges nationwide.
• To start and push for changes to higher education policies that support inclusive, equitable, and community-based teaching methods.
• To advocate for the government and other stakeholders to provide community colleges with more consistent and sustainable funding and financial support.

• To improve access to higher education in order to empower underprivileged groups, including women, Dalits, Janajatis, and economically disadvantaged communities, through education.
• To guarantee quality, openness, and accessibility in community colleges' governance, instruction, and service provision.
• To promote the involvement of all relevant parties in bolstering community campuses, including local and governmental organizations, academic institutions, civil society organizations, and foreign partners.

• To plan training, research, policy discussions, and capacity-building initiatives with the goal of bolstering the higher education ecosystem as a whole.
• To establish national and international networks and partnerships for shared learning, institutional development, and academic exchange.
